Trilochan Netralaya celebrated world sight day 2019 by screening children for refractive error at Anganwadi centre. Refractive error is one of the leading causes of childhood blindness which can be avoided by just a pair of glasses. Also the TN team with support from students of Netaji Subash Chandra Bose college conducted door to door campaign in a village of Sambalpur as a part of awareness program by NSS where we educated people about cataract, refractive error, glaucoma and diabetic awareness and distributed portable vision chart to each one for self testing of their vision at home.
